This platter is a unique East-meets-West creation that brings together our crispy fried chicken tenders and flavorful rice for a filling, satisfying meal. If you love our chicken tenders but also want something more substantial than just finger food, this is the perfect choice. On the plate, you’ll find several of our golden-brown chicken tenders – juicy white-meat strips coated in crunchy seasoned breading – served alongside a big portion of aromatic basmati rice. We also include a side salad (fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber, etc.) and a soda to complete your meal.

The idea behind the Chicken Tender Platter is to offer the comfort of fried chicken with a bit of South Asian flair. Instead of fries or bread, you get high-quality rice to accompany the tenders. And surprisingly, they pair wonderfully! The rice, cooked with subtle spices like cumin and a touch of turmeric for color, acts as a bed to catch any drippings or sauces from the chicken, and provides a warm, fluffy counterpoint to the crunchy tenders. You can even drizzle some of our white sauce or hot sauce over the rice and chicken to tie them together (much like you might with a chicken-over-rice street cart dish).

Each bite can be customized: have a piece of tender on its own to savor the crispiness and tender interior, then follow it with a spoon of rice to mellow and round out the bite. Or combine them – cut up a chicken tender and mix it into the rice for a makeshift fried chicken rice bowl. The salad on the side adds that needed freshness; it’s lightly dressed or comes with a lemon wedge so you can squeeze some lemon juice for an extra zing that contrasts nicely with the fried chicken.

The Chicken Tender Platter is particularly popular among kids and those who may be less inclined towards spicy or grilled items. It’s essentially comfort food – reminiscent of a homestyle fried chicken dinner – but with a Kababees twist.
